Biography
Björn Öste is the Founder and CEO of Karmadrip, a forward-deployed engineering service specializing in decentralized utilities for vulnerable areas. In 2024, he and his team conducted pioneering research in Iztapalapa, Mexico, to revitalize underdeveloped communities through decentralized infrastructure solutions. Their study attracted attention from major institutions, including BIVA – Mexico's second-largest stock exchange – and the prestigious Tecnológico de Monterrey university, where they were invited to present their findings and proposed solutions and have established ongoining ties. Building on this success, the Karmadrip team is now exploring opportunities to implement their platform in vulnerable communities worldwide.
Pursuing his passion of the mysteries in archaeology and anthropology, Björn created Arkhub, a platform realizing his idea of Archaeology 2.0; an initiative to empower both amateurs and professionals to accelerate the pace of archaeological discovery.
